Do I need an Alaska fishing license?

Yes, you can purchase them at local grocery stores or online at Alaska Fish and Game. 

If you purchase it online, please make sure you have a printed copy on the trip with you. 

 

Do I need to bring lunch and drinks?

Yes, please provide your own lunch and drinks.

 

Do you process the fish?

Our guides will fillet and clean your fish. However, you will need to take your fish fillets to a local fish processor to have them vacuum sealed and frozen. We can point you in the right direction. 

 

Are gratuities included in the price?

Gratuities are not included in the fishing trip price. Common gratuity rates for guides in Alaska range from $40 to $60 per person based on the experience of the trip.

 

What should I wear/bring?

We strongly recommended dressing in extra layered clothing, waterproof shoes, sunglasses, and rain gear.
